Italian was my first language. My parents and grandparents all immigrated from Italy to New York City. As the eldest child in my family, I wasn’t taught to speak English until I was four years old. Although I don’t speak it fluently anymore, I still understand quite a bit. When traveling becomes a thing again, Italy is my first stop.
Fun Fact 4
I met my husband through an online dating site! At the time, online dating was new and I had so many reservations. On our first date, we met for lunch and ended up being the last people in the cafe at closing time after dark. We’ve gone back for lunch every year since on our anniversary.

My sweet and silly 5 year old is THE center of my universe, my biggest dream come true. He’s taught me the truest definitions of embodied joy, patience and unconditional love.
Fun Fact 2
I moved to Costa Rica in my 30’s to teach English and yoga on the beach. On my off-time I volunteered with the local turtle rescue sanctuary. As much as I love the Bay Area, I miss the quiet village life and dream of going back one day.
Fun Fact 1
Some of my favorite things: traveling, pinot noir, thunderstorms, the smell and purifying powers of rosemary, leaves in autumn, windy days and home-cooked Italian food.
